Enduro Tour Packing List: What You Really Need for a Multi-Day Ride
After years of welcoming riders for multi-day tours, we have seen what gets used, what stays in the suitcase and what people wish they had brought. Here is a practical enduro tour packing list built around real riding days.

Enduro Clutch Control: How to Find Grip Without Burning the Clutch
Good enduro clutch control lets you deliver the right amount of power when the ground offers little grip. Learn how to use the friction zone on climbs, tight turns and technical obstacles without overheating the clutch.

Two-Stroke vs Four-Stroke Enduro Bikes: Which One Suits Your Riding?
Choosing between a two-stroke and a four-stroke enduro bike affects how the motorcycle responds, finds traction and handles technical terrain. This practical comparison will help you understand which engine better matches your ability, routes and riding style.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Where can you ride hard enduro in Croatia?
In Istria, north-west Croatia. Enduro Experience Croatia runs guided hard enduro tours on rocky, forested trails and steep climbs, minutes from the Adriatic coast.
What riding level do the tours require?
All levels. Your guide sizes up the group’s riding ability and tunes the route accordingly — from beginner-friendly trails to expert hard enduro lines.
When is the enduro season in Istria?
All year round, really. We adapt to the conditions — in summer we set off earlier to beat the afternoon heat, and winter riding is perfectly possible too. Rain is unpredictable, of course, but several rainy days in a row are rare. The prime months are September–October and March through May.
Do I need my own motorcycle?
No. A KTM is provided on request for anyone who doesn’t have their own bike — and if you’d rather ride your own, you’re welcome to bring it.
What's included in the price?
Guided riding days, lodging and meals (breakfast and dinner) — from the first day to the final ride. Pricing is per person, set for groups of four or more. Smaller groups may carry a supplement, always quoted upfront, while larger groups get guaranteed discounts.
How many days are the tours?
2, 3 or 7 days — up to a full week — plus fully custom trips built around your group’s skill level and preferred terrain.
Can non-riders join?
Yes. Partners or friends who don’t ride can join and enjoy Istria and the coast while the group is out on the trails.
How do I get to Istria?
Plenty of riders simply drive in — Istria is an easy road trip from much of Central Europe. Flying? The nearest airports are Pula and Trieste, with Zagreb and Ljubljana within driving range. Either way, we’ll advise on transfers to basecamp.
How big are the groups?
Small groups. Book as a group of friends and no one else joins your tour — your guide is dedicated to you alone. Fewer than four riders? Get in touch. Either way, we never mix riders of different skill levels in the same group.
What gear do I need to bring?
If you rent one of our bikes, all the riding gear comes with it. If you take unusual sizes — size 50 boots, for example — it’s worth bringing your own or letting us know in advance. And if you’re arriving on your own bike and forget something, we’ll have it covered on the spot.
